See below for complete list of Niagara residents charged with listed offences.

In Early 2013 members of the Niagara Regional Police Special Investigation Support Unit and the #1 District Street Crime unit began an investigation into the activities of the Outlaws Motorcycle gang and Black Pistons Motorcycle gang in Niagara.  The investigation was expanded in April 2013 and the Niagara Regional Police partnered with Canada Border Services Agency, the Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P.) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau including the Biker Enforcement Unit, Drug Enforcement Unit, Provincial Weapons Enforcement Unit and the Organized Crime Team, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (R.C.M.P.) Serious and Organized Crime Section and Integrated Proceeds of Crime Section. The investigation became known as Project Resurgence.

The investigation uncovered evidence of narcotics trafficking (Heroin, Cocaine and marihuana) along with weapons trafficking, break and enter, Assault, Extortion and Participating in a Criminal Organization.

In the early morning hours of November 6th, 2013, approximately 200 officers from across Ontario assisted the Niagara Regional Police in executing approximately 30 search and arrest warrants in and around the Niagara area. The assisting agencies included the O.P.P., R.C.M.P. Guelph Police Service, Toronto Police Service, Hamilton Police Service and the Canada Border Services Agency.

As a result of this operation an initial total of 29 Niagara residents have been arrested for various criminal offences including Narcotic offences, Conspiracies, Break and Enter and Criminal Organization related offences. This investigation is ongoing and it is anticipated more charges and arrests will result from today's operation.

The Niagara Regional Police service will be acting as host agency for a media opportunity to speak with representatives of the involved agencies in this Project. A presentation, featuring an overview of the investigation and some of the items seized during the investigation will commence at 10:00 am on Thursday November 7th, 2013 at 110 James Street in St. Catharines in the main floor boardroom. Please contact the undersigned for any further details.
